Ever feel stuck? Ever feel that you know there is an answer, but you are too busy lost in emotion to control those thoughts? The goal is to seek an inner peace that will place you in harmony with the Universal Mind and there you will find what you need.

Haanel states “that a man can change himself, improve himself, re-create himself, control his environment, and master his own destiny is the conclusion of every mind who is wide awake to the power of right thought in constructive action.”

For many of us, we are stuck viewing life through a lens that is based on the needs of others, originating from fear, judgement, and brokenness. What if we could “overcome obstacles of any kind that appear in our path?”

Connections are beginning to form. Selfishness is being replaced by selflessness. I am so keen and sensitive to acts of kindness. “I greet each day with love in my heart” and it seems that giving does much to expand my world.

I had been waiting for months to purchase the Surface Pro 4. Since the summer we had heard rumors of a new Microsoft product and I put off getting a new computer, which I so needed and the day of the launch I hung on every word. When the Surface Book was announced, my friend and I went to the Microsoft store and preordered our computers.

Then… well….the kids in our school wanted to start a robotics program and there was no money for it…. I did not need a computer that bad. In fact, I don’t even covet my friend’s when he flourishes it in front of me at meetings. I learn to be content with what I have.

Then a gift came in the mail today, from my mentor. The gift was simple, a compass and a looking glass, but their significance makes me smile. This is about getting unstuck. This is about seeing things clearly. This is about breaking strongholds on our thoughts. This is about who I am really meant to be, not what a group of marketing people determine.

Time to make a difference. Starting today, I will be what I will to be. That is unique. That is Imago Dei (In the Image of God).

My advice…find a mentor….get a compass and a magnifying glass. Be true to your path and question what you have been told. The truth is found within.
